EdIncubator Smackdowns

An EdIncubator smackdown is a 60-minute event that provides ed tech start-ups or projects with a chance to present their "pitch" to an audience of educators and others interested in techology and education. Each presentation has a time limit of 4 minutes, with an additional 4 minutes for Q&A from the audience, and a follow-up discussion area is provided on Classroom 2.0. The presentations are slide-based, and there is a limit of 20 slides which must be sent in advance. There will be a maximum of 6 presentation for each event, and the events are recorded.

Each Smackdown is advertised to the broader Classroom 2.0 audience, and is open to anyone who wants to attend. If you have an idea you are pitching that has moved past the open brainstorm stage, or which you want to keep private, you should consider our EdIncubator service instead--Smackdowns are open and public, as is the follow-up discussion forum on the website.

A calendar of Smackdowns and training sessions is below, as well as an application form (COMING).
